Nusa Penida is one of the best-known dive areas around Bali, with manta rays and clear water. You can dive here whether you already have a licence or have never dived before.
The short answer
- Fun Dive: for divers who already have a licence. Two guided dives.
- Try Diving: no licence needed. A pool session first, then two ocean dives with an instructor.
- Our Dive Day from Bali includes the fast boat, car and driver, both dives, equipment, lunch and a GoPro.
1. Fun Dive: for licensed divers
- Two ocean dives at Manta Point and Crystal Bay.
- A professional guide, with a maximum of 4 divers per guide.
- All equipment and free Nitrox for certified divers.
- From about 08.30 until around 14.00 at the dive centre.
Bring your certification card. The dive centre asks for your certification level and the date of your last dive.
2. Try Diving: your first dive
- No licence and no experience needed.
- A pool session of about 45 minutes to learn the basics.
- Two ocean dives with your own instructor, a maximum of 2 guests per instructor.
- From about 08.00 until around 14.00 at the dive centre.
3. The dive sites
Manta Point is known for manta rays, which often visit the area. Crystal Bay has clear water and colourful reef. Manta rays are wild, so a sighting is likely but never guaranteed, and the dive team chooses the sites on the day depending on the sea.
4. How the Dive Day from Bali works
